Door Bluff Headlands County Park

The Door Bluff, also know as the Headlands, have a unique formation that is very unusual. Such structure and appearance is rare. The park has approximately 6,800 feet of shoreline and is the second largest county park in Door County. The park is undeveloped except for the road that leads to its interior. If you didn't know what lay at the end of the long road, you would never guess the beautiful site that awaits you at the end.
A recently rebuilt lookout hangs out over the edge of the bluff and provides an incredible view of Green Bay.

The area is said to be the place where the Potawatomi Indians fought the Iroquois indians. It was the mainland indians against the Washington Island indians.
